Obama is actually good at something -- increasing food stamp usage. When you analyze the objectives and motivation of the government in promoting the use of food stamps is terribly hideous. According to the Obama Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s claims their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), a.k.a. – food stamps – is under utilized. This is based on a 33 percent increase in the use of SNAP to an all time historic high of 46 million Americans.
It is the objective for Obama to increase food stamp usage to include 75 percent of all eligible Americans, from the current 66 percent. Predicated on Obama’s admission that his “goal” to increase food stamp usage, it is patently contrary to his goal of job creation. These two factors, food stamps and job creation, are incompatible goals.
For example, if an economy is improving and jobs are plentiful, the result is a limited supply of employees which naturally drives incomes higher. Higher incomes improve standards of living across all sectors of society. Therefore, a properly functioning economy results full employment and a natural reduction in the use of federal programs such as food stamps.
By 2015 the government’s “strategic plan” is to increase food stamp participation to 75 percent. Given Obama’s economic “blueprint” designed to improve the economy, create jobs and generate American “green” energy, Obama will succeed in reducing prosperity enough, by continuing down his Marxist path of job and economic destruction, to increase economic misery so that his goal of millions more receiving food stamps is achieved by 2015.
Since 2008, the year of Obama, food stamp usage is up 100 percent. Stated differently, in 2008 there were 23 million Americans on food stamps. At the beginning of 2012 there are now 46 million Americans receiving SNAP. During that same period, the unemployment rate doubled. Therefore, the data establishes a baseline supporting the argument that Obama’s economic solutions are actually far more detrimental and destructive to America’s prosperity.
To add insult to injury, Obama and the Department of Agriculture are giving grants of $75,000 to increase participation in SNAP. The government has been generous in “redistributing” over $5 million dollars of your wealth. Yet there was a recent complaint that individuals on SNAP, which uses the tag line “Nutrition, it’s a SNAP”, are using food stamps to purchase “unhealthy” food.
The government is currently taking $89 billion dollars of taxpayer money for use in only one federal government program. Not only do these programs instill a sense of entitlement it also reduces a person’s individual pride of self reliance and independence.
But perhaps the worst element of Obama’s agenda of destroying American culture is the insistence that “pride” and self reliance is considered, by the Obama administration, as a character flaw in Americans that prevent them from accepting government largess. So a character trait that was responsible for building and protecting this country is now looked upon by the federal government with disdain.
The main focus however, should be on the macro portrait of America that was painted with rugged individualism and the pride Americans take in being an American. Unfortunately, Obama wants to take that individualistic pride of self reliance away in order to shackle the entrepreneurial American spirit, while attempting to unleash an entitled society of government dependent dolts.
So Obama’s economic growth “blueprint” is based on government stimulation, which is an oxymoron (appropriate related to a moron), through taking from the productive private sector and giving it to the unproductive entitled segment of society. He believes that reducing future expectations to meet a declining economy is the same improving the economy in order to expand opportunities. Obama thinks that Americans have to accept less for the benefit of the collective.
Obamaville: a place of despair, government propaganda and a belief that American “pride” is detrimental to the Marxist socialist agenda of President Obama.

You presume that I have no mind of my own. I've called this guy a socialist from the moment he took the democrat nomination. Name calling? You're offended by the term Obamaville? You must also be offended by the term Hooverville? As far as the name calling accusation - is that a "fact" or is that your opinion? Look peoplepower, you are an obvious Obama supporter, that lacks the ability to rationally analyze facts and accept reality. I can only assume that you personally know Obama predicated on your statement "Not the real Obama". I can only state the facts and make conclusion based on those facts and historical correlations. I've called Bush a socialist and Obama a Marxist, but the charge is based on their actions. Perhaps you are similarly offended by calling a rapist a rapist.
If you take away the name Obama: Would you consider the current state of the American economy to be acceptable? Or lets say George Bush were currently president would you have the same warm sentiments for Bush? By the way the US is on such sound financial footing that the US is projected to grow at 1% in 2013...that information is from the CBO. If you have a problem with the info, call Obama.

You have just admitted that Obama and all his liberal friends like Jon Corzine, Harry Reid, heads of the big banks (who give millions to democrats)and the Union leaders are in the 1 percent. Therefore, Obama is attempting to convert America into a country "of, by and for them." Way to go big brain...you are finally emerging from the shadows of ignorance and envy.

TPC: I'm glad to see that you're are cheerful as ever this morning. The vast majority of corporations, perhaps 99 percent, don't have power. It is Multinational mega corporations that have power, but only because of special laws and regulations bestowed upon them from government that give them power - like GE or Microsoft. If Microsoft were an oil company it would have been broken up. But oil is evil and GE is righteous because they make electric stuff, which is good. But when all is said and done electric products are coal powered.
If you would focus your energy on government instead of wasting time with corporations, that is where the problem is. But Occupy doesn't protest government. Barney Frank, Freddie and Fannie in collusion with the HUD forced banks to make loans to people that couldn't pay it back or face prosecution.
Does a corporation tax you, pass laws, regulate you, arrest you for growing tomatoes in "your" back yard or for selling "unpasteurized" (natural) milk? Has a corporation ever put a gun to your head to buy anything? NO. Do corporations price fix, generally no, but the government does price fix and uses your tax dollars to do so by paying people not to do something in order to keep the price up.
So give me break about the bullshit corporate argument.

Caught a glimpse of a news clip on Fox News today, 2/2/12, of President Obama signing a document with Congresswoman Waters and other Democrats standing behind Obama.What caught my eye was just after the President signed the document, he raised his hand high with a drawn fist. I must thank Jon this morning for a dose of rational honest thought. He is absolutely correct with his analysis and makes valid points backed up by substance and not rhetoric.
But for you TPC, this morning I'm just not in the mood. You keep talking about "tools" and the 1%. You and those you claim to represent aren't tools - you are fools. You are "useful idiots". You make no rational or intellectually stimulating arguments. Instead you only vomit innuendo and rhetoric. You also make some ridiculously juvenile moral equivalency by claiming the 99% are good and the 1% bad. But yet you defend the actions of the 1%, such as when you defend Obama and by extension George Soros and those like him. You OWS people love people like DiCaprio, even though he made $70 million simple because he claims to be a "green". He proves this by purchasing of a Chevy Volt that costs members of the 99% $250,000 per car that he drives to the airport to fly on his private jet so that he does not have to smell or mingle with the 99%.
But the 1% (Obama) was kind enough to take money from the 99% to give to his 1% buddy DiCaprio. So Obama gives the 1% $7,500 for buying a "coal" fueled Volt because Obama likes GM because they and DiCaprio give money to his campaign.
The 99% i.e. the Occupy Wall Street crowd, has received money from George Soros, who made approximately $7 billion last year with Obama's inside information, but that's ok with you because Soros is the good 1%.
Think about this, obviously you are poor, have no job because you hate capitalism. But your little buddy Obama is now in the 1% and he brags about it continually. But embrace your stupidity and that of the 48% of the 99% because if someone as stupid as Obama can become the 1% by being a lousy politician, then even people like you, with limited intellectual skills and ability can become the 1% without working for it just like your hero Barack "Barry" Hussein Obama.

I witnessed Van Jones, a recent czar appointed by President Obama on C-Span giving a speech on how the radicals are planning to occupy wall street. Van Jones is a Marxist and a revolutionary. I experienced the Chicago protest first hand. President Obama raised his fist as a sign of solidarity to what's going on today.
The people supporting the rioting unions and activist is Obama and many of the progressives in our government. Please try to get by the propaganda machine now in progress during the 2012 presidential campaign. For your information, I am neither a Republican or a Democrat. My posts are NOT INTENTED TO SWAY ANY ideology. What the president is selling the American people are HALF TRUTHS and by far his actions are not near what he states.

This is a very good propaganda piece. You state everything as a fact. What are your sources for this information? I'm going have to vote this down because of the name calling that you use that does not apply. It appears as if you have bought into the Obama that the right wing has created. Not the real Obama.
